Before I say anything else, check out this awesome edit I made. Pretty funny stuff, right? Jokes aside, I wanted to give a status update on the FNAF update that I had said would take me about 2 weeks to finish... 2 months ago. Needless to say, I miscalculated how long it would take for me to finish it. Well, maybe not entirely. You see, what I said was that it would take me 1-2 weeks to finish the gameplay section. This was not a lie. If all I had done was simply to finish the gameplay section, then the update would have most likely been finished on time. But that is obviously not what happened. No, because after having released the essay, I decided to take a quick look at what I had written and realised I had made a lot of mistakes (besides spelling errors, that is). The section on FNAF World was pretty sloppy and some arguments for Dream Theory were also pretty sloppy. As such, I knew I had to fix these issues as well, which meant that I was going to have to once again rewrite a bunch of stuff and also add a ton of clarifications and expand my arguments. Basically, I am trying to make it as great as it can possibly be. I am going to wager that this is what the reader had suspected to have been the case, but I still wanted to produce some kind of life signal, nonetheless, since I did promise that the update would only take 2 weeks, after all. I am not going to estimate when it will be done. I think I have learnt my lesson about that now. Still, progress is being made, and even if things are not moving as fast as I would like them to (because I am lazy), I do hope to finish the update sooner rather than later.
